Compact Kitchen Design for Small House Unit

Happy to share another kitchen design by me at at Tropicana Grande, Kota Damansara.  This compact kitchen design is usually work best for condominiums.

Two tones colour wall, feature the brick wall design

Design Tips:  Lighting play a major role in making the design pops out and create a vision of warm ambience.

HIGHLIGHTS

Close up of the feature brick wall. Mini paintings and small pot plants are the owner's personal collections. Great taste !

These dark chocolate kitchen cabinets are made of Inspiro - RCO Kafe. Complimented by the square handles, this contemporary charm design will not fade in time

Kitchen food storage are by Kessebohmer - Pull Out Basket.

High quality cabinets are from premium brand Signature Kitchen. The drawer system and hinges are using European brand, Blum, which comes with a lifetime warranty.

These two levels peninsula is my special touch for Mr. Ong's peninsula.

Modern Industrial Kitchen Design

Meridian Interior Design - Modern Industrial Home Design at Subang Jaya

Today I'm happy to share a new handover project from my colleague, Lee Yang. This project is a sub sale terrace at Subang Jaya. The owner hired contractors and architect to actually plan a new house design, demolish the existing house and build a brand new home with the concept of "Modern Industrial".

Dry Kitchen Area

Credit to Lee Yang for creating such a masculine kitchen design. Also good job to the decor team for making this kitchen design more pop out and complete!

Design Tips: For a dark colour kitchen, use soft colour (e.g white) decorations to bring contrast to the design and create an uplifting mood to the area.

Wet Kitchen 

The wet kitchen area is at the back of the dry kitchen, a short walk from the Island. As this kitchen is a man's kitchen, Yang kept the decorations as minimal as possible. Unlike a woman's kitchen, the decorations will be more elaborate.

Decoration Tips: Small pot green plants are very nice and easy to use as kitchen decor because it keeps a natural vibe in the area and take less space.

Chili Red Kitchen and Study Area Project

Today I want to share about my latest handover for Mr. Tie Teck Kong. Checkout my design here..

Study Area 

Just like any parents would feel, Mr. Tie Teck Kong is a very concerned father and also a generous husband. By that, I mean .. he did not just make his wife happy by presenting her with a beautiful functioned kitchen but he also present his kids with a special Study Area.

Located upstairs, this area is for Mr. Tie Teck Kong doing their homework and other activities such as reading books.
